Summer Programs
Summer programs offered by the Girl Scouts of the Golden Plains Council offer something for every girl and take them on adventures to new and exciting places, whether that is outdoors during an overnight camping trip or in the theater performing a musical. Along the way, girls meet new friends and benefit from the guidance of caring adults who are eager to pass on their skills and enrich the lives of the girls around them.
All summer program sites are open to girls of all races, colors, religions and nationalities, and each location is handicapped accessible. The fun and friendship of camp comes hand-in-hand with a tremendous opportunity for growth and enrichment.
Through participation in camp activities, girls have the chance to learn new skills that build self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment as well as leadership and teamwork skills.
Any girl can register for Girl Scout camp. For girls who are not currently members of Girl Scouts, an additional. $10 fee will be charged and applied toward membership in the organization.
